Studio sites run on controlled access, discretion, and a supplier who answers the phone at six in the evening when something changes.
Three years embedded on one of the UK’s largest studio sites. An Account Manager with fifteen years in this environment, an Account Director on site several times a week.
That closeness is why teams here call us when something needs sorting properly.

Studio Contracts
A studio estate is a small town, and it needs cleaning like one. We look after internal common parts across the site, including restaurant and dining areas, offices, day care facilities, multi-function spaces and washrooms throughout. Outside, we handle external litter picks, car parks and refuse movement into central collection areas, on foot and in electric vehicles. Teams work in shifts right across the day, so cover is continuous rather than squeezed into an early morning window, and everything is overseen by shift managers reporting to a full-time on-site Account Manager.
Stage Turnaround
When a production wraps and the set comes down, the stage has to go back to the studio in the condition the contract requires, and usually with very little notice. We scrub floors back with ride-on and pedestrian scrubber dryers, lift paint and tape residue, remove gum, take down high level dust and return the space ready for the next build. Turnarounds land where they land, so we resource them at short notice and work overnight or across weekends when the schedule demands it. The result is a stage that meets the dilapidations standard and hands over clean, so the next production can start prep without losing days.
Production Support
Productions need a cleaning partner who can move as fast as they do, and we work with them wherever they are shooting rather than only where we hold the site contract. We clean temporary accommodation, production offices, marquees, washroom facilities and unit spaces, usually on short-term arrangements that flex around the shooting schedule. Requirements change constantly between prep, shoot and wrap, so we scale teams up and down without renegotiating the terms every time. We also supply consumables and other goods and services, which takes one more thing off a production manager’s list.
Technical Areas
Technical spaces need a different approach entirely. Dust is a risk to equipment, noise is a risk to a take, and access is controlled for good reason. Our teams work to method statements written for the environment, covering low-noise working, appropriate consumables, controlled access and clear rules on what is not touched. We fit around live sessions and recording rather than expecting the schedule to fit around us, and every operative working in these areas is briefed on the confidentiality that comes with them.
Everything your site needs to keep productions moving
What our customers say
Why NuServe
We work to your schedule, not ours
Call times move, stages release late, and turnarounds get compressed. Our teams are resourced and briefed to absorb that rather than push back on it. When something changes at short notice, the answer is usually yes.
Discretion is part of the service
Confidentiality is not an add-on in this environment, it is a condition of being on site. Our teams understand what that means in practice, and we carry enhanced insurance specifically for work on film sets and stages.
A BCorp partner with real credentials
Certified environmental products wherever feasible, a fully electric fleet, fair pay and people who are looked after properly. It reflects how we run the business, and it gives your own sustainability reporting something verified to point at.
FAQs
Yes. We hold a full contract on one of the UK’s largest studio sites and support productions filming at other major UK studios, including Pinewood. Crews change studios between projects, and we would rather follow the relationship than lose it at the end of a shoot.
That is the normal arrangement rather than the exception. We work to call sheets and production schedules, including overnights, weekends and periods where areas are inaccessible while filming is under way. Our teams are briefed on what happens when the red light is on.
For work on a site where we already have a team, usually within days. For a new site, mobilisation depends on scope and access, but we will tell you honestly what is achievable rather than agree to a date we cannot hold.
Typically a full floor scrub back, removal of paint and tape residue, gum removal, high level dust removal and a general clean down so the space meets the condition your agreement requires. We will walk the stage with you first and agree the standard before we start.
Your agreement with the studio does. We work to the dilapidations standard in that agreement rather than a generic specification, which avoids arguments at hand-back.
We sign whatever the production or studio requires and brief every operative individually. Teams working in sensitive areas are supervised, and the expectations around phones, photography and discussing what they have seen are made explicit at induction rather than assumed.
Yes. We carry enhanced insurance specifically covering work on film sets and stages, above standard commercial cleaning cover. We can share the detail on request.
Yes. We support base camps, unit bases, holding areas, production offices and washroom facilities on location, and handle the make-good at the end of the shoot so the location hands back as it was found.
Yes, to method statements written specifically for those environments. That covers low-noise working, appropriate consumables and equipment, controlled access and clear boundaries on what is not touched.
Yes. Many productions ask us to manage consumables alongside the cleaning, which means one supplier, one point of contact and no one running out of hand towels on a shoot day.
Cobotic pedestrian and ride-on scrubber dryers for the main floor area, supported by sweepers, gum removal systems, pressure washers, backpack vacuums and sky vacs for high level work. We bring the right machine for the job rather than the one on the van.
We collect and move refuse from across the site into central collection areas using electric vehicles, with segregation and recycling handled as part of the routine. Reporting is available if you need it for sustainability reporting or a production’s own carbon calculations.
Our on-site Account Manager has more than fifteen years working in studio environments, supported by shift managers and a stable team who have been on the same site for three years. Continuity matters more here than almost anywhere else.
